Abstract
► An ethanol steam reformer and SOFC integrated system is studied. ► Effect of anode gas recirculation on SOFC system performance is analyzed. ► Recycle of anode gas improves electrical and thermal efficiencies of SOFC system. ► Carbon formation in the reformer is reduced at high recirculation ratio. ► The recirculation ratio has an effect on electrical efficiency of SOFC system.
