Abstract
⺠A 3D mathematical model of the laser cutting of current collectors is developed. ⺠Threshold of full penetration cutting, penetration time and penetration depth are investigated. ⺠Copper laser cutting is laser intensity and interaction time dependent process. ⺠Aluminum laser cutting depends more on laser intensity than the interaction time. ⺠Experimental and simulation results show a good agreement for high speed cutting.
