Abstract
⺠A novel type of transmission, based around planetary gear boxes and small electric motors, is presented. ⺠The configuration of the gearing of the mechanism is provided. ⺠The foundations for the operation in which a continuous variation of speed ratio is achieved are explained. ⺠The arrangement of a test bed build in-purpose to validate the transmission is shown, including results of experimental tests.
