Abstract
⺠The presence of β-Li3N has a detrimental effect on the hydriding properties. ⺠The milling procedure promotes α to β structural transition in the commercial Li3N. ⺠Commercial Li3N exhibits the best hydrogen storage properties in the first cycle. ⺠The addition of LiH influences only the stability of the different Li3N samples under hydrogen cycling.
