Abstract
A new 3D supermolecular coordination polymer [Mg(H2TPTC)2·2H2O]n (1) was synthesized under solvothermal condition by a rigid rich electronic ligand H4TPTC ([1:1â²:4â²,1â³-terphengl]-3,3â³,5,5â³-tetracarboxylic) and Mg(II) ion. Complex 1 presents an excellent fluorescent Mg-MOF sensor exhibiting highly sensitivity and selectivity for detecting TNP. Furthermore, complex 1 can be quickly regenerated by simple wash with acetonitrile, exhibiting good recyclability for detecting TNP. The quench mechanisms of complex 1 to nitro aromatic explosives were studied as well.237
