Abstract
The shape-dependent catalytic activity for partial oxidation of methanol was originated from the support effect in ZnO, which can be further correlated with the superior metal dispersion and strong metal-support interaction resulting in enhanced methanol conversion lower CO selectivity. Hence, the shape effect could provide important insights into designing principles necessary to develop the high-efficient catalysts for partial oxidation of methanol.146
