Abstract
Solid-state mechanochemical conversion of potassium(I) CP nanostructure, prepared by sonochemical procedure, to thallium(I) CP nanostructures has been studied. This conversion is irreversible. The metal ion in thallium CP is involved in three secondary thallophilic interactions and against to those observed in thallium(I) compounds, the lone pair of Tl(I) is 'inactive' in the solid-state.306
