Abstract
Two complexes based on a new analogue ligand of H3IDC have been successfully synthesized under hydrothermal condition. Their 3D frameworks consist of novel metallacalix[4]arenes MBBs Cd4(H2BIDC)4. Complex 1 exhibits a lig network constructed from interconnecting C2-symmetric Cd4(H2BIDC)4 MBBs and complex 2 displays a new 6-connected network built by ancillary BIMB ligands bridging S4-symmetric Cd4(H2BIDC)4 MBBs. Moreover, the purity, thermal stability and fluorescence property of two complexes were investigated.258
