Abstract
An iodine-containing metal-organic framework, namely [Cd3(IN)5]·I3− (1), has been prepared under hydrothermal condition. The structure of compound 1 shows a 3D framework constructed by rod-shaped metal chains together with IN anions, while the channels are occupied by triiodide ions.315
