Abstract
JLNU-3 has been synthesized by hydrothermal reaction and characterized in detail. Especially, JLNU-3 has excellent stability in aqueous solution and also exhibits strong fluorescence emission. The fluorescence emission could be effectively quenched by trace amounts of Hg2+ in aqueous solution. JLNU-3 can be used as a fluorescent probe for selective, sensitive and recyclable sensing of heavy-metal cation Hg2+ in aqueous solution.277
