Abstract
Two nanosized polynuclear compounds [Nd20Ni21(IDA)21(NH2CH2COO)6(OAc)3(CO3)6(C2O4)3(μ3-O)9(μ3-OH)12(μ2-OH)3·12H2O]·32H2O (1) and [Na3Pr20Ni21(IDA)21(NH2CH2COO)6(OAc)9(CO3)6(C2O4)3(μ3-O)6(μ3-OH)15(μ2-OH)3·12H2O]·15H2O (2) are based on Ln20Ni21 units connected by iminodiacetic acid to generate 0D and 3D structure for 1 and 2, respectively. Magnetic properties of compounds 1 and 2 reveal the existence of antiferromagnetic exchange interaction between adjacent metal ions.120
