Abstract
A new Co(II) coordination polymer based on 4,4′-oxy(bis)benzoic acid (H2oba) and 1,2-di(4-pyridyl)ethane, namely {[Co(dpa)(oba)](H2O)}n (1) has been synthesized and characterized. The photocatalytic activity of 1 on methylene blue degradation under UV irradiation in aqueous solution was investigated. Compound 1 act as an efficient photocatalyst material.221
