Abstract
Utilizing phosphonate as co-ligand, two novel decanuclear Ln10 clusters (Ln = Pr, Nd) based on p-tert-butylcalix[8]arene (H8TBC8A) with interesting self-assembly properties are reported: the cationic Ln10 cluster layers are separated by the anionic layers of co-crystallized H6TBC8A2 â ligands.
