Abstract
A new Keggin-based compound, [Ag9(ptz)5][PMoVI11MoVO40]·H2O (1) (ptzH = 5-phenyl-1H-tetrazole), was synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. Compound 1 exhibits a 2D layer containing AgI ribbons and hexa-nuclear AgI circles, which are further linked by AgI atoms and [PMoVI11MoVO40]4 â anions to construct a 3D framework. The electrochemical properties of compound 1 have been investigated.
