Abstract
The present paper reports, for the first time the synthesis and characterization of metal-free and metallophthalocyanines substituted by four macrocycles containing piperazine moiety on peripheral positions. A convenient, one-pot procedure is described for the synthesis of the macrocycle containing piperazine moiety based on the mild condensation between two N-substituted 2-chloroamides.
