Abstract
When reacting with Mn(II), fluorene-2,7-dicarboxylic acid undergoes in situ oxidation to generate a two-dimensional coordination polymer with fluorenone-2,7-dicarboxylate, which is based on trinuclear units and displays antiferromagnetic exchange.
