Abstract
⺠Compounds 1 and 2 are two-dimensional lanthanide carbonate frameworks. ⺠They are constructed by the intergrowth of infinite lanthanide carbonate layers. ⺠Effective energy transfer from the ligand to the EuIII center for 2 can be found.
