Abstract
⺠Comprehensive deterministic assessment of the tsunami hazard to Sri Lanka. ⺠Numerical simulation of tsunami propagation for eight plausible seismic scenarios. ⺠Sumatra-Andaman segment yields the worst-case tsunami scenario for Sri Lanka. ⺠Tsunami heights from other zones less than 20-30% of those from Sumatra-Andaman. ⺠Results are useful in tsunami evacuation planning and risk management.
