Abstract
⺠A vertical structure with an overhanging cantilevering slab is tested under loading conditions of violent wave impacts. ⺠Impact pressures and forces are non-repeatable under nominally identical conditions. ⺠Waves are classified into four breaker types according breaker shapes. ⺠The largest peak pressure is recorded at the fixed corner of the cantilever slab (123 kPa). ⺠The presence of a horizontal part increases the vulnerability of the vertical part.
