Abstract
⺠Propagation of solitary wave over uneven bottoms was investigated using WCSPH. ⺠Fission processes of both non-breaking and breaking solitary waves were discussed. ⺠Wave profile evolution and flow fields were analyzed. ⺠Coefficients of wave reflection, transmission, and dissipation were calculated. ⺠Number of transmitted solitons was predicted, effects of step width was examined.
