Abstract
⺠The presence of ROS-related genes in response to low O2 has been observed. ⺠An overlap between O2 deprivation and heat stress has been proved. ⺠The site of ROS production during low O2 and heat is still a matter of discussion. ⺠Both O2 deprivation and heat have been shown to induce HSFs and HSPs. ⺠HSFs likely play a central role in heat and low O2 enhanced plant tolerance.
