Abstract
⺠Young grapevine leaves were less sensitive to supplemental UV than old ones. ⺠In young leavess OH and 1O2 neutralizing capacities increased in response to UV. ⺠Protection of photosynthesis against UV relies more on induction of antioxidants than their base levels. ⺠Different ROS-scavenging assays are non-interchangeable.
