Abstract
⺠A tomato introgression line exhibiting high phenolics fruit content was selected. ⺠Candidate genes involved in vacuolar phenolics accumulation were identified. ⺠ERF genes have a key-role in phenolics accumulations in tomato fruits. ⺠A TILLING tomato mutant of ERF1 gene exhibits lower level of phenolics in the fruit.
