Abstract
⺠We integrated microarrays from maize roots grown in acid soil and Al tolerance QTLs. ⺠Genes possibly involved with acid soil tolerance were located inside maize QTLs. ⺠An RNA binding protein was inside QTL1, protease inhibitor in QTL2 and cyclins in QTL4. ⺠A replication factor and a xyloglucan endotransglycosylase were inside Alm1. ⺠This approach facilitates gene selection for further investigation of AI tolerance.
