Abstract
⺠S. bryopteris show broad temperature optima for photosynthesis from 28 °C to 37 °C. ⺠Stomata are insensitive to ABA. ⺠Stomata poorly regulated in response to light, high CO2, VPD and temperature. ⺠Unable to restrict transpiration resulting in lack of capacity to optimize WUE.
