Abstract
Change over 60 days in δ15N values of young leaves of Eucalyptus grandis pairs located at 1.5 m, 3.3 m and 6.2 m from the 15N-labeled Acacia mangium. Mean background δ15N values ± standard error (n = 3) were 1.49 ± 0.36â°, 1.53 ± 0.35â°, and 1.58 ± 0.21â°, at 1.5 m, 3.3 m and 6.2 m, respectively. Vertical bars indicate standard errors between blocks (n = 3). At a given collection date and a given distance, * indicates significant differences with δ15N background values (P < 0.05).
