Abstract
⺠Exposure of Eisenia andrei to organophosphate dimethoate using the artificial OECD soil. ⺠Molecular biomarkers were sensitive indicators of toxicity. ⺠Dimethoate caused inhibition of AChE, CES and CAT activity. ⺠Initial induction of the efflux pump activity was followed by its inhibition. ⺠Dose applied in agriculture caused significant changes in measured biomarkers.
