Abstract
⺠We measured N2O fluxes of drought and monsoon undergoing forests in East Asia. ⺠We investigated the influence of soil texture on N2O production and consumption. ⺠The N2O balance at the driest site remained negative during the growing season. ⺠Soil moisture and temperature even drove the N2O sink function.
