Abstract
⺠Intensification of plant production may gradually acidify the soil. ⺠Acidification leads to high N2O/(N2 + N2O) product ratio of denitrification. ⺠Intensification of plant production may lead to escalating N2O emission. ⺠Soil pH management can moderate the effect of intensification on N2O emission.
