Abstract
► We study the temperature response of three exoenzyme-substrate reaction rates. ► l-Dopa requires high activation energy to decay and shows the greatest response. ► Rates of cellulose- and chitin-like substrate decay show similar but lower response. ► Temperature can alter the C:N flux ratio of resources liberated from soil substrate.
