Abstract
⺠We measure the rhizosphere priming effects (RPE) on soil C and N mineralization. ⺠We use nodulated and non-nodulated soybeans that differ in rhizodeposit quality. ⺠Nodulated soybean produces stronger positive RPE on soil organic C decomposition. ⺠Both soybeans produce a similar level of positive RPE on soil net N mineralization. ⺠RPE on soil C and N mineralization are not linearly proportional to each other.
