Abstract
► We measure the rhizosphere priming effects (RPE) on soil C and N mineralization. ► We use nodulated and non-nodulated soybeans that differ in rhizodeposit quality. ► Nodulated soybean produces stronger positive RPE on soil organic C decomposition. ► Both soybeans produce a similar level of positive RPE on soil net N mineralization. ► RPE on soil C and N mineralization are not linearly proportional to each other.
