Abstract
⺠Droughts but not wildfires affect the stability microbial respiration. ⺠Active microbial biomass was resistant against droughts even with frequent wildfires. ⺠Stability of cellulases and CLPPs were impacted by frequent and recent wildfires. ⺠Resource availability explain the impact of fire on microbial stability.
