Abstract
► Soil organic carbon (SOC) was highest in intermediate aged post-fire stands. ► Water stable aggregates were highest in youngest post-fire stands. ► SOC was higher in young post-clearcut than post-fire stands. ► But aggregate stability was lower in young post-clearcut than post-fire stands. ► Effects of stand origin on SOC and aggregate stability diminished in older stands.
