Abstract
⺠Ash seedlings were grown under several levels of reduced UV-A and UV-B radiation. ⺠After one year of decomposition leaf mass loss was 10% higher without UV-B exposure. ⺠No changes were detected in carbohydrate and lignin content of cell wall material. ⺠Effects of UV filtration can differ from effects of UV lamp supplementation.
