Abstract
⺠We investigated the influence of tree-based intercropping (TBI) on AM fungi. ⺠TBI supports a more diverse AM fungal community compared to conventional monocropping. ⺠Tree species differentially affected the composition of AM fungi in the TBI system. ⺠The AM fungal community exhibited temporal variation throughout the growing season.
