Abstract
- The cell division pattern in leaf primordia is diversified along the longitudinal axis: basal or apical.
- The longevity of the leaf meristem is diverged among species: determinate or indeterminate.
- Differed from bifacial leaves, unifacial leaves can be flattened by excess growth to the leaf thickness direction without having an adaxial identity.
