Abstract
⺠High N fertilization did not reduce AMF colonization of maize roots in cropped fields. ⺠Poly-P in maize roots provided evidence that AM fungi provide P to field grown maize. ⺠AMF diversity in maize roots was high regardless of N rate and varied temporally. ⺠AMF community varied with N rate indicating specificity to edaphic factors.
