Abstract
												- We addressed Osiurak and Danel's concerns about our embodied theory of tool use.
- It cannot account for human apraxias, which are of interest to Osiurak and Danel.
- However, it accounts for the development, dexterity and complexity of tool use.
- It relies on concepts of affordances, spatial relations and movement biomechanics.
- Our theory is therefore applicable to both humans and nonhuman animals.
