Abstract
- We examine the relation between individual behavioural variation and anthropogenic contaminants (ACs).
- ACs and behaviour may be associated in a feedback loop via effects on individual resource acquisition or allocation.
- AC-behaviour interactions could be studied mechanistically, using longitudinal data sets.
- This approach would require a type of data that is currently missing in the literature.
- AC-behavioural interactions could include effects of psychiatric drugs on fish and neurotoxic insecticide on bees.
