Abstract
Evaluation of feed ingredients in aquaculture should include analysis for the metabolism through the gastrointestinal tract. We simulated the digestion of the Pacific Bluefin tuna to evaluate the degradation of fish and poultry by-product meals. Low molecular size peptides increased towards the end of the incubation period. Degradation patterns for fish and poultry by-product meals were similar.
