Abstract
Sturgeons represent a valuable group of fish in aquaculture, especially for caviar, but also for meat production. This study describes a novel approach to sturgeon egg de-adhesion involving oxidation of egg surface. The method requires little time, is low cost, and disinfects and softens the egg surface, which facilitates hatching.
