Abstract
Statement of Relevance: The manuscript describes two new ELISA methods for the detection of anti-NNV antibodies in Australian bass and barramundi. NNV has been a limiting disease for the smooth operation of the aquaculture industry in Australia with Barramundi and Australian bass being two of the most relevant species to the disease. The methods are expected to provide screening tools to evaluate vaccination status in fish of 40Â g or more and evaluate the exposure status of broodstock with the potential use for vertical transmission control.
