Abstract
⺠We isolated two novel female-specific DNA sequences. ⺠We applied multiplex PCR technique to identify the genetic sex of tongue sole. ⺠We found sex-reversed individuals. ⺠The female-specific fragments were localized on chromosome W. ⺠The FISH method might help to distinguish super-female individuals.
