Abstract
► We evaluate the season effect on rigor mortis in N. subnodosus adductor muscle. ► We evaluate the storage temperature on rigor mortis in N. subnodosus adductor muscle. ► Season affected the initial values of the rigor mortis parameters. ► The rigor mortis was less pronounced at 5 and 10 °C.
