Abstract
⺠Immune gene expression of Penaeus monodon was monitored following WSSV infection. ⺠Survivability of the animals was correlated with the immune gene expression level. ⺠Five genes found to have higher expression in survived animals. ⺠Gene expression level can be used as a biomarker for selecting broodstocks.
