Abstract
⺠White spot syndrome virus (WSSV) leads to devastating losses in shrimp farming. ⺠VP28 was divided two parts for define the key functional fragment against WSSV. ⺠VP28C caused a better resistance against WSSV through the virus challenge test. ⺠VP28C attribute to the upregulating some shrimp anti-viral genes.
