Abstract
⺠We developed PCR assays for differentiation of three Kudoa spp. in olive flounder. ⺠K. lateolabracis was detected for the first time in olive flounder. ⺠A new genetic lineage of K. thyrsites was detected in olive flounder. ⺠Sensitive detection of K. septempunctata in fish fillets will increase food safety.
