Abstract
► We find GA reduced intraperitoneal fat deposition and promoted lipolysis in fish. ► GA has little effect on growth and dressed carcass (without visceral) in the fish. ► GA can increase the edible part ratio in channel catfish. ► The effect on lipid deposition may be due to promoting lipolysis.
