Abstract
A comparative study of infection with Tetrahymena (black arrows) in different ornamental fish species. Guppy, platy, molly and angelfish (super order Acanthopterygii) showed no inflammatory response to infection, as opposed to koi and goldfish (super order Ostariophysi), which displayed extensive inflammation (white arrows). Guppy was the most susceptible to infection.275
