Abstract
Hypothyroid and hyperthyroid medications are the two main treatments for thyroid disorders. The thyroid gland can be the site of a cancerous process. The main medications for thyroid disorders regularly dispensed by pharmacists are represented by thyroid hormones, mainly levothyroxine, and synthetic antithyroid drugs.
